[01] The story

Two lads. Two hemispheres. One habit.

One of us is in a market town in Cavan. The other is up in the Andes in Cuenca. Different hemispheres, different first languages, the same habit: build the thing, ship it, then make it better.

Between us that is 33 live projects: 17 from Steven, 15 from Kevin, and one big one we share. RawByte is the name we put on all of it now. Design, code, hosting and the phone call after, from the raw byte up.

Steven

Cavan, Ireland53.99°N 7.36°W

Builder. Engineering, product, hosting.

Builds products for Irish businesses and the people who use them. Death notices and memorials. Sea-swim forecasts. Planning leads for tradespeople. Tax refunds. Pub quizzes that mark themselves.

One pair of hands, answers the phone, and usually has a working draft you can click within the week.

Where the work crossed

Xeris

A post-quantum Layer 1 and everything around it: testnet, DEX, browser wallet, Flutter mobile wallet, messenger and block explorer on one design system, plus the chess game, the token-site launcher and the proof-of-capture certificates.

Both of us have shipped across it, from the design system to the games and tools on top. Proof that 9,090 km is no distance when the work is good.

[02] How we work

  1. 01

    No account managers.

You talk to the person building it.

  2. 02

    Draft first.

A link you can click and poke at, usually within the week.

  3. 03

    Research before pixels.

We find out what your customers need before we pick a font.

  4. 04

    Phone first.

Most of your customers are on one, so that's where the design starts.

  5. 05

    You own it.

Your domain, your code, your customers. No per-sale cut.

  6. 06

    Ship, then sharpen.

Live beats perfect. Then we make it better.
